Travel Guidelines

Intercity Bus Service to Washington

Washington DC is serviced by Greyhound/Peter Pan bus lines. The main bus terminal is at 1005 1st St., NE, directly behind Union Station. In addition to Amtrak and MARC trains, Union Station also has a stop for the Red Line of the Washington Metro subway system.

Washington Area Metropolitan Transit Authority

The MetroBus service within Washington DC is managed by WMATA. The buses are heavily used by the locals, and service all areas of the city. A single trip costs $1.45, or $0.65 for seniors and the disabled.

Directions to the Conference Venue

The workshop will take place at the Waterview Conference Center in Arlington, VA.
The Hotel Palomar is nearby, a couple of blocks from the Rosslyn Station Bus Bay (served by the 38B line, and the 5A line, among others) and the Rosslyn Metro stop (served by the Blue and Orange lines). For further details, please check the WMATA Trip Planner.
