Video Controls

Use the video controls to control playback, seek within the presentation, view full-screen video, and adjust the video playback speed. When you are viewing a live presentation, you cannot pause, stop, or seek within the presentation. Also, you cannot adjust the video playback speed.
When a presentation is live, the live presentation indicator flashes red.

Note: If the video for the presentation does not appear, verify the presentation is not an audio-only presentation and that you have the current version of Windows Media Player installed. If you do not have the current version, go to the Windows Media download site.

  1. Click Pause to suspend playback or Stop to halt playback.
  2. Click Play to resume playback after pausing or stopping the presentation. If you stopped the presentation, playback will start at the beginning of the presentation when you click Play.

Using the video seek bar

Move the video seek bar to the left to move backward in the presentation and to the right to move forward in the presentation.

Adjust video playback speed

Speed

Increase or decrease the speed at which an on-demand presentation is played back by moving the Speed tab up towards fast or down towards slow, respectively.

Adjust volume

Mute

  • Increase or decrease the volume by moving the Volume tab to the right or to the left, respectively.
  • Click Mute to turn the audio off completely. Click Mute again to turn the audio back on.
  • View full-screen video

    Full-screen

    1. Click Full Screen to expand a presentation's video so that is fills the entire screen.
    2. Press Esc to exit full-screen mode.
