LBSC 888: Doctoral Seminar (Fall 2010)

Our first class is Thursday, September 2, 2010 at 2 PM in HBK 2119. Note that this is not our original room (which was too small for us) but as of August 28 Testudo was correctly reporting us as being in the new room.
All students who are required to take this course who are presently on the waitlist are expected to clear from the waitlist and become registered for the course. Assume that will happen, and prepare for the first class as if you were registered. If it has not happened by the day before our first class please check with Student Affairs to sort out the problem.
The course mailing list has been established. Students adding or dropping the course should contact the instructor to get on or off the mailing list. If you have never received an email sent to the list, please let the instructor know pronto.
An additional reading has been added to week 5 and reading assignments have changed slightly in week 4. This resulted in renumbering the as-yet-unnamed students in weeks 4-7. This chance was made on Aug 28 to accommodate two additional students.
Some Web browsers do not display the syllabus correctly unless you click on the bar at the top of the browser to "Allow ActiveX controls" or some such. If you don't do that, the result is ugly, but still usable.
