Exam Preparation Materials

The final examination will be the only exam given this semester. LBSC 796 and CMSC 828o will have different final examinations that will be given at the same time. In each case, the final examination will be 2 hours, in class, open book, at the same time that the class usually meets on the date indicated in the syllabus, in the usual classroom.

LBSC 796

LBSC 796 has been offered five times previously (all as LBSC 708A), so there is now a fairly extensive set of study materials and prior exams. The course does change somewhat from one year to the next, of course, and materials from different professors are included here. So these are probably best thought of as a basis for dialog rather than as examples of what you might expect to see this semester. No prepared solutions are available for the exams. Some of these documents are available only as Microsoft Word files - they are simply captured in whatever form they were originally created in.

CMSC 828o

This is the second time CMSC 828o has been offered (previously as CMSC 838L). The Computer Science Department has requirements for the design of the final exam (which satisfies the MS Comps requirement), exams for CMSC 828o are unlike anything previously given in LBSC 796/708A.
