Some projects from previous semesters are available on the Web. Project requirements have evolved over time, and between different sections of the same course. Technology also evolves, so some things that were previously hard are rasier now. Finally, some of these could have even been from other courses. Nonetheless, these will give you an idea of what some of the best projects from previous semesters have looked like. Another project that was done for 690 (and evolved a bit since) is available.
