INFM 603 Homework 1

1. Create a Web page that would be suitable for use as your public Web site (Whether you use it as your public Web site or not is up to you). Place the page on the Web at http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~YOURUSERNAMEHERE/603/hw1.html (where YOURUSERNAMEHERE is your terpconnect user name). The Web page should include a photo (preferably of you!), your name, and information about your professional experience and preparation. The Web page must be in hand-coded HTML and must include at least one link to another page.
2. Use traceroute to discover the location of the server for http://www.flyonthewall.tv/casestudies.php?site=5
3. Create a Web page at http://terpconnect.umd.edu/~YOURUSERNAMEHERE/603/index.html that links to your hw1.html page. Send the instructor (oard@umd.edu) an email with your name (as you prefer to be called), your email address (where you prefer to read email), the URL for that Web page, and the answer to the second question.
