To the Moon and Back: The Apollo Program

E0: Tweeting 1969

Throughout the semester I will be tweeting "live from 1969" from @ApolloProf using the hashtag #ApolloAt50. Tweets for events that happened at known times will be sent at that time, exactly 50 years later. When only the date is known. tweets will normally be sent at 4 PM. All times are Eastern Standard Time. Note that in 1969 the dates were all one day later in the week, so you will see Monday tweets on Tuesday, Tuesday tweets on Wednesday, etc.

My goal in tweeting 1969 is to give you a sense for the pace and diversity of the activity in the Apollo Program at that time. So you'll want to check in every day to see what's new.

This purpose of this ungraded assignment is just to ask you to set up your social media accounts to follow @ApolloProf (or #ApolloAt50) on Twitter throughout the semester. Alternatively, you can check https://twitter.com/ApolloProf every day.
